Beautyful Finca with guest-apartments in the valley of Son Macià

Nestling between Son Macià’s mountains and Mallorca’s east coast is this typical Mallorcan finca.

The entranceway to the property leads through indigenous, attractive Mallorcan fauna. There are olive and pine trees as well as palm trees, bougainvillea, and citrus trees surrounding the property.

Behind the house, a beautiful, luscious lawn with palm trees creates the garden area. The property has total privacy from any neighboring properties.

The pool is accessed from the veranda across the lawn. The veranda has a small outside kitchen and TV area with group seating offering all the amenities to enjoy the outdoor life.

The main building was built in the middle of the 19th century and registered for the first time in 1940.
The living area has an open fireplace, the kitchen is adjacent to the dining area, and there is a small storage room (the former kitchen). There are three bedrooms (two currently used as a study and dressing room), a bathroom is integrated into the master bedroom, and there is a separate shower room.

There are also three separate guest apartments – each with a bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchenette, and a living area.

Behind the house is a garage and a paddock with fruit trees near the entrance. This paddock could also be used for horses or donkeys, as there is a stable.

Location:

The property is situated between the popular fishing village of Porto Colom, with the largest natural harbour and Porto Cristo on the southeast coast of Mallorca. It is just a few kilometers from the coast, in the foothills of the Llevant only a few km from the small, charming town of Son Macià.

The proximity to the second largest city, Manacor also makes this region interesting for foreign residents, which ensures it´s ever-increasing popularity. The Rafa Nadal Tennis Academy is about 10 km away.

Son Macià, located in the municipality of Manacor, is about 8 kilometres away from Manacor. The coast with popular bays such as Cala Domingos, Cala Anguila, Cala Romantica and the port of Porto Cristo (formerly Port de Manacor) are only a short drive away.

The airport of Palma can be reached in about 40 minutes via the well developed Ma-15 expressway and in less than an hour, you are in the capital Palma de Mallorca.

In the local town of Son Macià one can get everything for daily requirements and there are also a few small bars and restaurants around the town’s market square. It is open all year round to serve the 300 residents of the town and the residents of the many finca´s in the surrounding area.

The prestigious Cal D´Or golf club and restaurant is a short drive away.

This was the second finca to be built in the valley of Son Macià and over the years its external appearance has changed by several renovations and extensions.
The last changes were made around 20-25 years ago and are subject to legal protection.
From the inside of the building, one can witness the bygone eras adding to the charm of the building.

The owner is considering entering additional parts of the building for protection in the land register.
